Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Depth Protocol (the “Publication”), published by Vectis Consulting LLC (the “Company,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, and protects information about visitors to thedepthprotocol.com (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

a) Information you provide

When you subscribe to our newsletter, email us, or otherwise contact us, you may give us your name, email address, and the content of your message. We collect only what you choose to give.

b) Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our servers and third-party services may automatically log standard technical information including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referrer, pages viewed, and timestamps. This is industry-standard and is used to maintain Site security and basic operations.

c) Cookies and similar technologies

The Site uses cookies for two purposes: (1) essential functionality (e.g., remembering newsletter subscription state) and (2) affiliate tracking — when you click a link to a partner retailer such as Amazon, that retailer may set a cookie attributing your visit to us so they can credit any resulting purchase. We do not control these third-party cookies.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Some Site features may not work correctly if you do so.

2. How we use the information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
  • Send you the newsletter you subscribed to (and only that)
  • Respond to your emails and inquiries
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with advertisers for ad-targeting purposes.

3. Third-party services

The Site relies on third-party services that may receive some of your information in the course of providing their functionality:

  • Hosting: Vercel
  • Newsletter delivery: Operated through Vectis Consulting LLC infrastructure.
  • Affiliate networks: Amazon Associates (and others as they are added), which use cookies to attribute referred purchases.
  • Analytics: None currently in use. If this changes, this Policy will be updated.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy.

4. Amazon Associates disclosure

The Site participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click an Amazon link on this Site and make a purchase, Amazon may share information with us about that click and the resulting transaction (typically: item, value, commission earned). Amazon’s privacy policy governs your relationship with Amazon. See Amazon’s privacy notice.

5. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at info@vectisco.ai and we will delete it.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., California, EU, UK), you may have specific rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Request access to the information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Object to certain uses of your information
  • Withdraw consent for newsletter subscription at any time (use the unsubscribe link)

To exercise any of these rights, email info@vectisco.ai.

7. Data retention

  • Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe.
  • Email correspondence is retained for up to three years for operational and legal purposes.
  • Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.

8. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect information from unauthorized access. No internet service is 100% secure; we encourage you not to send sensitive personal data (e.g., financial information) via email.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced via the newsletter.
